News Desk: BNP was failed to help the people and develop the nation. This is why; they lost the support of the general people. Now a rumour has risen that BNP’s leadership has been taken by few individuals who were deported by Awami League. Political analysts are saying that, poor organizational skills, disagreement inside the party and lack of strong leadership has put BNP in a vulnerable position. Which is why, few leaders who left Awami League; they are strategically taking over the leadership of BNP from Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman. Dr. Kamal, Rob, Manna and other leaders were innovative to turn BNP into a party without leaders. It resembles to a ship without radar.
Different sources informed that, BNP moved backward because of their involvement with terrorism and militancy, extreme corruption and for abusing power. Their prime leader Begum Zia is jailed because of corruption and another prime leader Tarique Rahman is living his fugitive life in London. This turned BNP into a party without guidance and hope. They protested against the government number of times and failed every time. Now they have handed over their leadership to Dr. Kamal, so that they can be successful in the political ground.
Former professor Dr. Kamal Hossain of Dhaka University was very concerned about BNP’s future leadership. He said, “Already BNP has been forced to join with Jatiyo Oikko Front because they lost Begum Zia. They have weak organizing skill and do not have the correct and dedicated leadership. They joined forces with Jatiyo Oikko Front so that they do not crash like an aeroplane without pilot and also they want the government to release Khaleda Zia from the jail. But they do not understand that they are making mistakes by joining with them. These leaders who left Awami League are turning BNP into a domestic party. Leaders like Dr. Kamal, Rob and Manna oppose Awami League out in the open but they believe in the ideology of Awami League from their heart. They indirectly took over BNP so that they can put them in a miserable situation. I know I will be right in the end. They will lose everything. The party which was crafted by Ziaur Rahman and Khaleda Zia that will be destroyed.”
Then again, political analyst Dr. Tareque Shamsur Rahman thinks that, Dr. Kamal and his allies have gained success on capturing BNP. He said, “BNP leaders do not understand one thing; that is they are losing their leadership for all time. Dr. Kamal, Rob and Manna support the independence. Their political career started from Awami League. All these time they tried to form different political parties but they were unable to be successful. But now they have got their chance to be the master of BNP. Meanwhile, BNP leaders do not have any options so; they are also blindly following the leaders of Oikko Front. BNP forgot that they are deported from Awami League. They will not be able save BNP from crashing. They are making mistakes after mistakes.” Dr. Tareque Shamsur Rahman is concerned that BNP will lose their identity for their own mistakes and soon they will lose their own leadership and ideology forever.
